Every piece of the Family Platter was excellent! If you enjoy pulled pork with seasoning and bark, then this place is for you. Will absolutely be going back.

Pimento cheese & sausage was really good. The smoked turkey was juicy & had really nice flavor. Tender ribs with the right amount of sauce. The baked beans were fire! Mac & cheese had good flavor, but the noodles were overcooked. Overall, satisfied! I got the banana pudding to go, I hope it's good, too.

My boyfriend and I come here often and every time we come here we have excellent service. Catherine (Katherine? lol) is usually our girl and we love her! The food is always good.. I get the wings almost every time or whatever the special is. Today we had the burger on special and it was spectacular! Keep it up guys!

As a Texan with a fondness for barbecue, I embarked on a culinary adventure during my vacation in Edisto, South Carolina. The brisket I sampled was exceptionally moist and tender, exhibiting a delectable flavor. Accompanying my meal were beans and grits, which I had requested cheese grits. However, I was disappointed to find that a generous portion of melted cheese had been drenched in queso, resulting in a dish that deviated from my preferred style of cheese grits. The beans were merely passable. Despite these minor disappointments, my granddaughter, a connoisseur of macaroni and cheese, thoroughly enjoyed her portion. Her feedback is always reliable, and she enthusiastically recommended the dish. The server’s demeanor was amiable, and she generously provided my granddaughter with an abundance of candies and oranges. Overall, while the experience may not have exceeded my expectations, it remains a worthwhile culinary excursion.

Swig & Swine, what a fantastic bbq cozy restaurant! This is definitely your must try BBQ restaurant if you're visiting Charleston or nearby cities, islands in South Carolina!!! It's a five with all due respect in every possible area, especially and most importantly, in the fooooooood!!! Wow, my daughter and I were left so impressed and satisfied because the food was five star top notch quality!! We will return and urge you to visit this location in Sunmerville. This barbecue joint is unique because they offer multiple barbecue flavors for all palates! My favorite were the jalapeno and the Alabama White sauce!! You can't get that many sauces in other barbecue restaurants. You may get two or three, but they have five sauces to experience with your smoked meats. The manager, Christian, is just terrific. He took the time to visit and share more details about the different cuts of meat we were trying and to check in on us. Our server, Jesse, was fantastic, allowing us to try a tiny serving of the sides in order to be assured we picked the best options to order for us. I'm so grateful for him because although I loved a lot of things, I know I didn't a few others, and I'll explain why. Their brisket is nicely seasoned, tender, and juicy, so loved it! Their wings are crispy and also have a nice rub on them that makes them taste so yummy. I always like my wings crispy, and that's what I got here, meat off of the bone good!! The drumstick and the flat wing were a very good size, too. I haven't seen wings that big in a while, so more meat for the buck and the taste is tops! They turkey meat is also tender and rich in flavor. They're barbecue ribs were rich in flavor and very meaty, too, so if you're into ribs, these are it! I highly recommend them!! Their sides are exquisite, and they were my favorite part of the night. They had me at their corn pudding, so very delicious and sweet!!! And then I tried their potato salad, and it was one of the very best I've had, kudos to the chef!! Their coleslaw was crunchy, tasty, and perfectly refreshing & tasting!! They have this hash over rice that is phenomenal!!!!!! This was my favorite side. And, their Brunswick Stew was great except I didn't like the sweet taste it had. I don't like my soups with sugar or my beans. This is why I would not recommend their beans because they're sweet, but this is a matter of preference only. Their fermented pickles onions were also sweet and not to my liking, but only because I have a salty preference when it comes to fermented veggies, and I happen to love my salty fermented vinegar onions with my barbecue, so this was a bummer for me, kind of like bad salsa at a Mexican Restaurant! I didn't try their collards because I was told they were sweet, but I should have probably tried them anyways, just to know. I tried their macaroni as a small side, and it was warm and good and standard tasting, but it wasn't one of our four choices we ended up choosing from at the end.. I like my collards with bacon and garlic and salt, so I knew these collards would not be my favorite anyhow, but again, it's a matter of preference only. My regret is not trying grits!!! Grits are a staple in South Carolina, so I bet they were stupendous! And, I love grits any way! For sure, next time!!! So most sides are exquisite, and you can't go wrong!! Lastly, you have to try their dessert!! We tried their blueberry cobbler, and it was out of this world!!!!!!! You can't leave without trying it!! They also have peach cobbler, and I bet it's just as good. I rate them a 5 for the best barbecue in town in my opinion, best service, and relaxing and friendly atmosphere!! Great going chef and team!! I will definitely visit many times in the future and urge everyone to do so.

Very good quality food and service at this location. Don't be afraid to come on down to this place and get your belly full of some good BBQ! They also provide catering at good prices, and we plan to utilize them for that very soon. The meat selection is so good and the sides are to die for.

This place has one of the best BBQ ribs I have tried in a long time. Incredibly tender, juicy and delicious. Took my wife to a birthday lunch and she was very pleased. The macaroni and cheese was amazing as well. We ordered the full rack with two sides and believe me, it was more than enough for the two of us, the rack had 12 huge ribs, we ate 8 of them and the rest we took in a food container that they gave us. The brisket is to die for!! We also ordered hush puppies (pork only) and although they tasted good, they had jalapenos and I'm not a fan of spicy food, but someone else might find them delicious as well. The sweet tea was amazing as well. The place has a very southern ambiance with good southern music. The waitress and staff personnel are very kind and friendly, the place was clean and cozy. It was overall a very warm and nice lunch experience and we left wanting to come back in the future. Total paid 11/03/23 USD 65 included tips. Highly recommended!!

This is a very good spot to sit down, relax, have a few drinks, and enjoy some delicious bbq. They make all their sauces in-house, same with the rubs. The kids' menu is good as well. This place is great. If you have kids, the mac and cheese gets destroyed every time. Excellent spot
